 Part Two: Possible Capstone ideas 

One project idea that I want to pursue is making an iOS app which uses augmented reality (AR) for providing immersive language learning experiences. It might translate and give pronunciation guides on top of real-life objects, as well as include interactive exercises in order to make learning languages more enjoyable and efficient too. While working on this undertaking, not only will I be able to test my skills in programming but also see the applications of AR in education.

Another project proposal I would like to pursue is the development of a cooperative art platform based on artificial intelligence. The idea is to make it possible for users to work together with AI agents in generating one-of-a-kind artworks whereby individuals can input their own imaginative thoughts and the AI will improve or change them. This undertaking will help me comprehend better about AI and machine learning as well as examine how technology meets creativity.

Finally my last project would be about making a virtual fitness coach that is personalized. By using computer vision and motion analysis, this AI-based coach will be able to generate tailor-made workout programs, monitor the progress of users, as well as offer immediate response. With my interests in data science, artificial intelligence and healthcare; I'm going to work on this plan which shows how far technology can go in aiding personal fitness objectives.

 Part Three: My Week

Throughout this week, I studied the concept of logical fallacies and their applicability in writing. This will help me a lot while working on my paper on AI-biased hiring because I think it’s very important to know how to use them correctly when composing argumentative essays. I also had a look at different capstone projects and thought about what kind of topic would be interesting for mine. One thing that stood out was reflecting on where am I with the essay so far, what have been some challenges or obstacles that I faced? At last, we did a group activity where we discussed potential themes for our next presentation together.

CST 462S - Learning Journal (service learning)

Working with the American Technology Initiative was really fun, informative, and rewarding. I spent most of my time on their volunteer portal, a prototype level app that makes volunteer reporting way easier. The codebase was almost release ready, so I got to dive in, explore its parts, and see how a familiar tech stack scales up for real users. Since the core features were already in place, I focused on user testing: hunting bugs, suggesting little tweaks, and polishing usability. Even though these were small changes, it felt great knowing they’d make a real difference for volunteers. If there’s one thing I’d change, it’d be the length of the service learning project. 25 hours (over eight weeks) barely gives you time to get comfortable with a new codebase. From my experience, you need at least forty hours just to learn the ropes and even more to add substantial features. CST 300 Week 7

Part 1: Arranging our ultimate research video project was a great experience for us as a team. The entire process was smooth, we all agreed with the concepts that were brought forth and maintained a steady vision during the planning phase. We collaborated mostly during our weekly zoom meetings. With different operating systems, we had to use various tools such as iMovie, powerpoint and Final Cut Pro (which is what I used). Looking back on it now though, what I would suggest is having timelines that allow us to finish the project at least a week early so that we can then look at it and try to improve it. However, our team has a strong bond so sharing each other’s ideas into our projects was easy for us.
